A theme that is repeated throughout the Bible is the call to service our neighbors in the name of Christ. This fellowship embraces its global neighborhood, reaching out to not only the Auburn campus, but also to the entire nation and the world in service and sacrifice. As members of the body of Christ, we all have gifts to share. Wesley encourages its participants to use those gifts to glorify God through serving others.
Local Missions Locally, we have both relational and construction missions. Relationally, we tutor children in Loachapoka, share in Bible study with men in a local half-way house, and regularly visit a nursing home. On the construction side, we are able to work with Alabama Rural Ministry to help many people in the local area who need home repair.
National Missions Traditionally, we take a national trip every Christmas and Spring Break. During Christmas break we normally focus on hurricane relief. At Spring Break, we often offer an urban immersion experience and a rural home repair trip. These are a great opportunity to be able to have a concentrated effort for an extended period of time. Also, it's a sure way to have a blast on your breaks!
International Missions Our international missions trips offer a chance for a more in-depth experience. International trips are usually 1-3 weeks in length. Past trips have included South America, Central America, and Africa.
