Worship
Worship...C. S. Lewis says that it is in the process of being worshipped that God communicates His presence to man. As Christians, we are all called to worship our Lord and Savior and why would we ever not want to? At Wesley, we are seeking to provide a place for you to come to worship the Lord alongside a community of fellow believers. We realize that both corporate and private worship are essential to our faith in Christ and it is our hope that we would be able to provide you with the necessary opportunities for both corporate and private worship to encourage and challenge you as you seek to follow Christ wholeheartedly.
Sunday Night Worship-8pm Sundays

AUMC Sanctuary
Every week we provide you an opportunity to come and worship corporately with us. We meet every Sunday night at 8pm in the AUMC Sanctuary on Magnolia St, just past Gay St.(coming from Toomers). These Sunday Night Worship services are put together each week by a committee of students along with our staff so that a unique, creative worship experience is offered to our fellowship. This is a great time for you to come and experience God through song, dance, testimony, and His spoken Word. We are also very excited about our two new worship bands that will be leading us this year in our services. Email davisj4@auburn.edu in you are interested in helping with worship or for random info.
Choir-6pm Thursdays
Do you like to sing? If so, you need to come to choir! In the past, we have had both select choir and a general one. We perform songs from a variety of styles. This past year we went to Orlando to sing and do hurricane relief. Afterwards we went to Disney World. We have recently(fall 2006) hired a new choir director...drumroll please...Mrs. Karen Bellah..who we are very excited about having. So meet in the Fireside Room at the Wesley Foundation on Thursday nights at 6 to be a part of a great Wesley tradition. Our student leaders for the choir are Emily Barker and Blair Hutchinson, if you have any questions about singing in the choir, you can email them at barkeef@auburn.edu or hutchjb@auburn.edu
Dance-6pm Tuesdays
The Liturgical Dance Team will be coming back strong this year as an exciting part of our worship services. The dance team was revived last year by Katie Esser, who will be leading the team again this year. They made several fine appearances in our worship services this year, including the entire Ash Wednesday Service. We are all excited to see how dance will be integrated more and more into our worship services this year so if you are interested or have questions let Katie know at esserkl@auburn.edu
Worship Jam-7:30pm Mondays
Worship Jam is a brand new new aspect of Worship at Wesley. We get together on Mondays at 7:30pm in the prayer chapel at Wesley (or at an outdoor location...Samford Lawn for example) and worship God. We want to grow a community of musicians/worship leaders that come together, have fun with their instrument/voice, and number one: praise God. One person leads in a time of devo/prayer to focus and start us off, and then leads us in worship, and we jam on whatever instrument we bring, all the while worshipping our great God we serve. It is a time of worship and a time of growth: growth with God, growth in worship, and in music. Bring a bass guitar, electric guitar, djembe, bongos, congas, egg shaker, your voice, rain stick, mandolin, banjo, keyboard, whatever you can play and come worship God with it. Philip Anderson will be leading worship jam and if you have any questions you can email him at anderpb@auburn.edu
